Books, Songs, Poems that tell you about being a Hippie without being about Hippies

    You're SO welcome. There's a lot of influences that book exposes you to while you're reading it. One of those things that always stuck with me is how Vonnegut explained a Karass in the beginning of the book.

    I couldn't find the actual quotation but I did find someone who blogged about it and I couldn't explain it better:

    I just found and read a book called "Summer of Love" by Lisa Mason. It is a sci-fi novel set in San Francisco during the Summer of Love and sounds like it was written by someone who was there.

    I'll second "On the Road". Another interesting read is "the electric kool-aid acid test" by Tom Wolfe.
