There are certain drugs your doctor can prescribe to help stop it, not sure how effective they are or their side effects, though. Embracing it would be the easiest thing to do, but even that isn't easy. Good luck to you.

There is a man at my school (who works there, don't know exactly what he does though) and he is probably 50% bald, and the rest is dreads. It is weird.
I saw a guy with dreads (looked to be in his 40s) who had gone seriously bald. I could see like 10-15 rope-sized dreads separated into little groups with baldness in between. At first i thought they were only to his upper back, but them he stood up and I realized he had been sitting on them and they were hangin' past his ass. Things made a lot more sense at that point. But yea, his roots looked pretty delicate, I'm sure he started with a full head of locks and they just started droppin' off.
