I go to my cousins for the whole summer when summer vacasion comes up to newhampshrie they have a big farm and they dont care about being nude outside and swimming in the pond too. I did not like that at first but now I cant wait to get there every summer. Tyler

I answered yes although i am going on my first nudist holiday in a couple of weeks. So my real answer is I sincerely hope to enjoy it that much that I do become one.

 

Yes I am, recently got into nudism. Only practice outdoor nudism, guess as I have a exhibtionist side.

A lot of us regard indoor nudism as largely pointless for its own sake. However that does not mean we don't spend part of our time indoors nude, we sleep nude and probably walk to and from the bathroom nude without really thinking about it. As to your exhibitionist side I'd say that the majority of naturists have such a side, those that say they don't are probably in denial.

 

I think exhibitionist is too strong a word to use for what most nudists are doing. If you think about it, when you wear a new outfit, maybe even just a new ball cap with a cool logo, you hope your friends will like it, but neither do you want people to stare at you all day and make your outfit the focal point of the event. Our birthday suit is just another outfit we wear. Some of us truly don't care whether other folks like our birthday suit or not, but some of us hope to make a good impression, but without being the center of attention. Whatever that is, I would not call it exhibitionism.

 

Indoor nudity is common, even for people who have no inkling what nudism is.
I would not say it is pointless.
From a physical standpoint, it can be more comfortable in hot weather and save on energy that you would otherwise spend on cooling your home or doing laundry.

From a psychological standpoint, home nudity is a great example for the kids, teaching openness and positive body image and affirmation of the natural human condition. When boys and girls are nude with siblings, cousins and nudist friends their age, it prevents the onset of prurient interest in hidden parts. This in turn can prevent a massive rift developing between the sexes. Boys of a certain age tend to spend more time with other boys and so also for girls, but with parental guidance, social nudity at home and elsewhere can be one of their tools for preventing that social gap from being too wide or lasting too long.


Nudity at home, also helps husbands and wives. When there are times that nudity is intimate without being sexually intimate, it can show in a literal way that you wish to be open with your spouse, nothing hidden, that you have no agenda to butter him/her up for sex later. Physical nudity is no substitute for emotional intimacy, but can serve to remind a couple to be vulnerable and psychologically naked to one another.

I don't want to take anything away from outdoor nudity. It is a wonderful form of harmony and tactile connection with the natural world. But when indoors, times of nudity are also good for us and our families.

 

Slept in the nude since age 7,in boarding school,with Pe periods swimming,thre rules counted (1)...sit out...(2) bring a costume(swimwear) or shorts to swim in,underpants allowed...(3) or swim in the nude.Most of the boys in class ,including myself, never wore underpants,did not have swimwear,and swimming in the nude in rivers,lakes,farm dams and swimming holes,were nothing new,so 80% of the boys opted for the skinny dip.At age 13,i became an 'away from the house nudist (i.e. If i went mountain climbing,hiking,visiting a friends house where they were nudists,swimming and cross country jogging),and when I practiced martial arts with a private master,we did it in the nude to assist pain controle and concentration.At age 16,i became an unashamed full nudist,and raised my son a nudist.

 

I would say I'm a partial nudist. I like to walk around in not too many clothes in the garden, my x and I went completely nude frequently at home and occasionally at a beach. However I stopped going to the beach as when I went by myself, not nude those times, I was accosted by creepy men several times asking me for dates and talking about sex etc. I was there to meditate and be left in peace. If I weren't bothered by creeps the beach is one place I would like to be nude frequently. I like to the option to be nude or not nude as I please as I love wearing clothes as well as being nude. If I lived by myself I would most likely be frequently nude.

 

Nanee, that really is a big disappointment and until nudity is an ordinary thing, nude beaches will attract more perverts than textile beaches do.

So what do you do? Avoid all beaches?

In many areas, there is a better way:
People who enjoy nude beaches tend to cluster together for safety and companionship.
If you want to be left alone, just say the word and most of our nudist friends will give you all the quiet you need to meditate, but the creeps will have a lot harder time getting to you when you are surrounded by your new friends.

You don't have to be a nudist to visit a nudist campground or resort. So whenever the mood strikes and the weather is balmy , you can get your fill of nude fun with no one to hassle you.

It looks like you share a house with people who don't enjoy your occasional love of nakie time. Too bad.

There are plenty of nudist bachelors in the world who would be blessed to have someone like you for a wife, but a common love of nudity does not guarantee marital bliss. But if you have not ruled out marriage in the future, rest assured that you need not settle for a husband who is a prude. I'd love to see you live in a more free setting some day!

Its also much harder to get into an argument with your wife if you're both naked!

My wife and I do this in the summer time, naked or underwear at the most. We never get into an argument when you are standing in front of the other person naked, its just too much fun!

 

I explained my views on nudity to someone the other day (only interested essentially in being nude where others have swimwear (beach, swim, spa) and the other person described that as being a 'wet nudist'.
