It's extremely beautiful to me, I just LOVE it. Does anyone cry like a little baby at the end like I do?

when it comes to the bard, hamlet is more my thing.
    i'm just not into it.
ever seen the troma version of romeo and juliet? it is entitled "tromeo and juliet."
i think, the bard would have love it, and he would have gotten a good laugh from it too!

This was my favorite movie for YEARS. I checked it out from the library dozens of times as a teenager. Then I rewatched it a couple of years ago and didn't like it nearly as much. Romeo was so WHINY. I absolutely adore Olivia Hussey, though. She's perfect for the role.

I saw the film when I was a freshman in high school. That's when I decided she was the prettiest person I'd ever seen.

Did you know that she needed permission from her parents to attend the premier? She was underage and the movie contained nudity - HER breasts. She did an interview afterwards about how funny it was that she had to get permission to see something she saw in the mirror every day.

I saw that version of Romeo and Juliet my freshman year of high school. I didn't pay much attention to the movie--I was mostly just staring at Romeo's face.

That aside, I don't like Romeo and Juliet much, as far as Shakespeare goes.

First of all I am quite fascinated with the way they give out their lines or dialogues in this film. And the cast especially the lead characters have the perfect face. I love the story. I feel the love for the first time I watched this one.
