So, what phone will be better overall? This one or another one? Explain why. What do you like and dislike about iphone 4? Discuss.

I'm still weighning in on whether to get one or not since I have no credit and would have to pay extra basically. But overall I got this money I should spend on some thing(s).

Some info to know on the iphone 4:

New battery:
10 hours of video,
7 hours of 3G talk,
6 hours of 3G browsing,
10 hours of WiFi browsing,
40 hours of music,
300 hours of standby.

Kind of what sold me is this:

Records HD video – a full 720p at 30fps. Tape to focus. Send it to YouTube.

Since I intend on being more into using the video record aspect of it, I'd be getting the 32gb one.

 

We should have killed them before they multiplied.

 

I'm a tech junkie, and can't wait to get my hands on one (gonna pre-order mine on the 15th). I have the previously released 3g and love it. It really is the best phone IMO. I use it for everything though.. GPS, places to eat close by, movie times, games, IPOD, satellite radio, e-mail... and a tons of others.

I had a blackberry for my business phone, and it doesn't even compare to the iphone. The iPhone is > * user friendly.

Have they released the prices yet? I know they're going with a 16g and a 32g. I hope it's $200 - $300 with you're 2 yr contract.

I've got my upgrade to use, and will be using it to save me $$ w/ the 2 yr contract.

ONLY gripe I have is AT&T not allowing internet tethering. The phone is compatible to run it, the giant power house that is AT&T don't allow it (cause it cost to much $$ wah wah)

 

And props to Apple for using a better battery. If I used mine heavy it'd be dead mid-day. Now I won't have to carry a charger everywhere I go.

 

Video I saw on it said $199.99 for 16gb and $299.99 for 32gb.

Well, I have to get some dentist work done first. So if I get one it'll be some time maybe in mid July.

Besides, I wouldn't want to pre-order it and it's rigged by somebody with time on their hands or there is an error that arises. I mean I got to give it some "people time" so that I read some reviews. It would be my first Iphone. I can't just go rushing into it. Got to see what kinds of phone plans is people being offered in some detail with that 2yr contract thing. I heard it's no unlimited plan being offered. Whatever that means.

 

i want one so bad it makes me sick. they've put so many good ideas and so many awesome technologies into it. and there are a lot of improvements, some big, some small.

-flash on the camera
-a camera on both sides of the phone (which is kinda crazy. you can make video calls to people, called facetime. kinda big, and pretty damn cool. with the function of "flipover" or whatever so that when on cam with someone, you can switch to the other camera to show someone something. good idea.)
-"retina display" / really high resolution screen. 4x more than the previous iphone
-much stronger glass. (and the backside will have the same strong glass)
-the release of OS 4 for iphone, which includes multitasking, folders for apps, improved mail app, ibooks, being able to create playlists on the ipod, 5x digital zoom, and some other things they should've had a while ago.
-bigger battery
-improved accelerometer
and more

but yeah it says on the website, 199$ for the 16gb, and 299$ for the 32gb. and also it'll come in white which is kinda nice lookin.
