I personally enjoy waking up early in the morning when there is dew everywhere and the trees are half-lit by the sun.

my favorite part is the clean air.
followed by having my feet in the dirt (preferably slightly wet)

feeling like I'm where I'm supposed to be, the stunning natural beauty and the things that make me smile - like finding a lamb all curled up on its mums back to keep warm!!

I love to be in a forest, there is something so very peaceful with that feeling. To look around at the trees and the wee critters and to know that man has not messed up at least the little chunk I am standing in. The smells and sounds are calming. The natural silence is something that we have too little of in life. Although water also does that for me, there is a peace in hearing and feeling water.

A good old thunderstorm is a great thing also as I think it is a cleanser for our earth. I love to watch the sheer force of rain and the beauty of lightening. Of course a given is that I am not standing with a pole at the time it hits. :)

I couldn’t just choose one there are too many

Walking along the shore of a fern covered lowland lake in Maine, hiking a trailhead in the White Mountain National Forest, walking along an abandoned road in Vermont with the colors of fall blazing in autumn sun, taking a summer stroll on cape cod national seashore, …..etc... [IMG]

    i enjoy fingering rabbits.

odds are the little chunk you're standing in has several non-native plants and animals trying to take over the forest...

I like to see the freedom of plants. Opposed to the trimmed cut up plants you see in offices. Being in nature is like seeing plants put down their hair and just letting it grow however it pleases. I defiantly can smell a difference in the fresh air that the plants exhale.

Have you ever felt tree bark with your feet?
    I like that feeling also

I just love the carelessness that nature has.
It could care less where it grows or moves but yet it cares for each organism it houses.

Yea, I used to when I was little, and I did/do love that feeling.
When I go camping I always like to revisit that feeling lol.
Not just climbing them but walking on trees that are on their side like to cross rivers and stuff. Thats always fun :)

I can tell a difference with the air too. Being in a forest compared to on a street with all the car exhaust. I love the freshness and all the scents that go with it. It seems easier to breathe too.

One time when I was really high and it was my twin brother's first time getting high, I told him to get off the sidewalk and smell how clean the air was when we walked in the grass, and it actually seemed like there was a BIG difference.

I felt how necessary plants are in a world that has car exhaust and smoke everywhere. Thats why I always tell my mom to keep live plants in our house because its refreshing :)
