I've heard it in many places, and finally decided to do some research. Including watching the film "The Beyond Within - LSD", and reading a lot of articles about them.

But I am still worried that if I try this drug, I will have some side effects, both mentally and physically.

What I want to know from you awesome people, is that do you think it's worth it to use this drug? Or maybe I'll be addicted? Please state some pros and cons about it.

    Thank you so much!

LSD doesn't cause physical addiction, has no major physical side effects (unless you are on some HIV/AIDS medications, which have been known to produce numerous fatal/serious interactions with ergotamine tartrate, a precursor of LSD), and unless you have a pre-existing, possibly undiagnosed condition like bipolar disorder or schizophrenia, you aren't at much of a risk (assuming you are somewhat well-prepared for the experience) of developing psychosis.
The experience can be a bit overwhelming, so start with a low dose.
That being said, I would definitely recommend you try it, but don't force it upon yourself. Take it when you feel ready and prepared, otherwise you are just asking for problems.

Ah~ I see... That's what I thought too! I really want to try some, but I have no idea of where to get it. I don't live in the states anymore, so any information is useless (plus, that could get you banned, right?)...

Another good documentary is the National Geographic one that came out last year. It's called "Inside LSD". It has a lot of useful, unbiased information. The ONLY thing I'd say isn't really true is that they say that people see things that aren't there. I just checked and someone even uploaded it on YouTube.

Anyway, there's a LOT to say on LSD. First of all, there's absolutely NOTHING to worry about physical side effects. It's physically less harmful than caffeine or aspirin. As for mental, I'm sure you already know that mindset and setting are key. LSD pretty much causes your brain to unfilter the senses. Imagine a dial for reality-LSD turns the dial up. The best suggestion for a place to trip would be nature with someone you trust and is not on LSD.

Don't forget to check out the Erowid website, too. I think that's pretty much it without turning this into a really long post.

I agree, anywhere where you would be around people relaxing, listening to a continuous stream of good tunes.... perfect.
Walks in the park are cool too, especially botanical gardens, with all of the color.
The best reference would be to have a friend you trust, who is experienced with LSD, guide you through your first trip. That is the best way to avoid problems, because they most likely know a solution.

psychadelicpiper: Is that the one where the beginning shows the dealer dosing gummy bears? If so, I know which one you mean, and agree it was very straightforward and unbiased, mostly.

Another thing to add is that for the first trip, I'd suggest the place be secluded, just in case. It depends on who you are, though, and what situation you're in but most definitely nowhere crowded.

And yeah slayer, that's the one. It's amazing to see the interest in psychedelics rising. They even used the word "psychedelic" throughout the documentary.

Don't lose hope. It was more than a year after I for sure decided that I wanted to do LSD before I finally got it. Have faith. If it came for me, it'll come for you. Be sure to find like minds that agree with you about this. If you meet people, something might happen!

Yes it's really been something that's found me more times than i've found it. Whenever I look for it, I can never find it but every so often it just randomly falls into my lap. OH yah to the op if you have some friends/acquaintances that are not into the drug scene that much but say something to the effect "OH I have this friend who can get you any drug you want" don't listen to them, i've had the worst luck trying to find particular drugs with people and those type of guaranteed statements.

Oh, and don't forget-if it's bitter, it's a spitter! Watch out for the fake stuff. And be sure to ask about the source. Also, it doesn't have to be a guy you know really well. In my case, the guy didn't get it to me until around a year after I first talked to him about it! I really hope you get it. I didn't think I'd ever get it, and then when I had the chance, I didn't think I'd get the money for it, too. And yet it all worked out!

Don't spit out blotter just because it's bitter. I've never had blotter that was not bitter.
