I don't trust the KJV because it seems to have clear contradictions which don't appear in other versions. For example:

How many stalls and horsemen did Solomon have.? In the KJV of Kings 4:26, it says 40,000 stalls. In the KJV of 2 Chronicles 9:25 it says 4 thousand stalls. Which was it?

How old was Jehoiachim when he began to reign? KJV 2 Chronicles 36:9 says 8; KJV 2 Kings 24 says 18. Which is right?

The idea that the KJV is the best version is one of the dubious ideas put forward by Benjamin Wilkerson in the 1930s and trumpeted by a modern following not noted for their scholarship. Some of the extreme versions, like Ruchmanism, even hold that the KJV is superior to the original Greek and Hebrew versions. This is just nuts.

 

I think it's about time to wrap up this thread. The trolls have had their fun. It's scary to think that people this messed up are walking the streets. I don't know whether or not the OP is serious, but if the Site administrator doesn't start taking action soon to ban some of these clowns like Enjoy and Nyxx, the idea of "Sanctuary" will be a joke. Deliberate sabotage of a discussion thread on a so-called Christian "Sanctuary" by jokers posting Satanist slogans is a challenge I don't think Hip Forums should take lightly.
