whats the best quality glass on glass bong?

Lol VaporBrothers is certainly not better in the category of quality craftmanship or actual vaporization. Honestly it's almost a joke to compare a box vaporizer to a volcano or the arizer extreme. The VaporBrothers doesn't have variable heat settings or different fan speeds. Not every chron vaporizes properly at the same temperature, so the ability to adjust temperature to your weed is crucial. The Arizer Extreme is the ultimate in vaporizing in my opinion as it has both a whip and bag system, and even a remote control for all of the super lazy stoners out there.

For best glass on glass bong I would either go with US Tubes, Toro, or Sovereignty. They are far ahead of the pack when it comes to skill, solid joints, and properly anchored and reinforced percolators. They are also topnotch in developing new diffusion technologies and implementing them creatively into even their tiniest of tubes.

 

yo glassmasta I have a question directed at you

I was just curious where'd you rank brands like; wicked sands, everest glassworks, stone glassworks, 2010bc, and SYN glass among your rankings of bongs? I'm currently in the process of trying to order online from aqualabtechnologies.com and i can see from browsing that although some of the brands they sell are the top quality brands you mentioned, e.g. toro, sovereignty, however they also sell cheaper brands I've not had good experience with like manifest glassworks. There are also several brands available I've never had any personal experience with, however that look high quality, and was very curious as to your opinion on them and how they all compare in the grand scheme of scientific glassware, as you seem to be pretty well informed on the subject Any insight you have would be greatly appreciated glassmasta, as well as others who are actually informed on the subject.

 

my other post being relatively old only covered what was out at that time, which is why the ones mentioned werent in there. the only brands you mentioned that i have any actual experience with is wicked sands, and they great quality for sure

the others i dont know having no personal experience with them, but they definitely look to be quality toobs, doesnt look like you could go wrong with any of them

 

K thanks alot man I'm leanin towards an SYN i think, im a fan of their showerhead perc, but its hard to tell online exactly, from their description and just how their marketed they seem to be a high quality make, thanks for your insight man. Lol ur name is very appropriate

 

i can agree with what glassmasta is sayin, with my limited experience. the bong i have is a no-name that i got from a local headshop for ~$80. it fits my needs perfectly. it's completely glass on glass, a removable, slit diffused downstem, ice pinches, and a dome perc. this is my first bong with diffuser and percolator. i notice no drag with this tiny bong. one thing which i knew when i bought it was that the perc water can hit your lips, if you hit it too hard or don't block it with ice.
the bong is not uneven at all, the joints seems pretty thick to me, but that's not very quantitative..
but i do notice that the perc is off center. it has five slits at the bottom of the dome..the are not evenly spaced, and one of them is very close to the edge of the tube...it's always the first to resin up.
this IMO is a minor imperfection. the bong seems quite study other than that, and i might rank it as a "benz" the way you were talking glassmasta.




I am the one who HAD a kaos. it was my first glass on glass bong. but it did have a rubber stopper where the downstem entered. it wasn't blown into the piece. by that fact, i can guess where you'd place them on the list...but might as well ask.

what do you think about KAOS?

for vaporizers, i'd have to 2nd the arizer extreme. it offeres everything that the volcano does, for less money. i seriously think it is better too. i've used a volcano many times, but only operated and owned an arizer, so i am a bit biased. vaporbros seems like they suck compared to the other 2.

a bong can function perfectly fine, last a long time, and be much cheaper, but most of the time will have a few imperfections. whether or not getting rid of those perfections is worth a bong that costs twice or 3 times as much is up to the customer. with expensive tubes your not just paying for the tube, your paying for the many many tubes that they throw away because they failed QC

i just hate people who bash cheaper gong tubes. yeah they aren't going to be as "perfect" as a more expensive piece, but 99% of the time they are going to function just as good.

another car comparison, the buick gnxs could smash on corvettes all day long, but nobody is going to say a gnx is an overall better car. more badass, yes
