Today I was writing about an artist friend of mine in high school and checking some of the pix in my year book. Then I remembered the most talked about pic in the 1963 Melaureus. Sometimes candid shots like that happen, but I can't believe the editors didn't see it before printing. I think they just snuck it past the teachers. It was an innocent time. This was our idea of mischief. Oh, as for the artist, Joe Williams - he did the illustrations for the year book. He was really good. Here is the page he signed for ... uh Bob. And here is a pic he gave to me.
Just go my middle school yearbook.....my hair is disguisting in it and im right next to the guy im in love with
That was really cool Shale, thanks for posting it. I bought all of my middle and high school year books but they are at my moms house and I am not talking to her anymore so I will have to send someone over there to get them so I can post some pics.
Those are great pics, Shale ... and speaking as one who was an editor of my high school yearbook, I'm sure you're absolutely right about slipping that photo past the teachers ... lol I lost my senior yearbook somewhere along the way and was never able to replace it
When I Went To School, There Was No Such Thing As A Yearbook, Just A Class Photo From Each Year. In My Final Year, I Was Voted The One Most Likely, To End Up "Pregnant, Barefoot, And In The Kitchen"...... Makes Me Proud To Say, As Life Progressed, GLEN Achieved Two Out Of Three...... Cheers Glen.
