I come back from Bonnaroo, have a great time then get a sore throat and an high fever. Go to the dr. its not strep but its mono. Fuck!! Anyone have mono and keep on smoking weed? I know cigg.s are an even worse idea, but is marijuana really that bad for it? I figure I will just cut back but I really don't see myself stopping. I go to the dr. on Wed. for a one week check up and hopefully get stronger meds.
I smoked weed when I had mono. If the throat gets really bad (like, "I can only eat jello!!") bad -- it might not be a very good idea. Also, it's gonna hurt, and I hope you have a bong.

you know your going to smoke, so why even ask? smoking anything with a sore throat is not a good idea, but when has that stop a pot smoker?
I smoked when I had it. Although I also was drinking a milkshake almost every hour so my throat was basically numb the whole time.... Damn... That was a fun ice cream filled week of mono.
My boyfriend had mono and he still smoked. I think I even smoked with him a couple times. Bad idea, but I never caught mono.
My friends would smoke with me, and we would like, have separate pieces or seperate jooints going or whatnot, but by the time we were stoned, they would always get mixed up, or we would forget or something -- and neither of them got mono, either =P
