So the US are through as well, this should be interesting :p

You have to remember, the England team are playing possibly worse than they ever have and the American team, the best :D

England is going onto the next group also.

But I'm with you jmt, that match was unbelievably incredible. Landon Donovan is a national hero. I lost hope that we would be able to win, that goal was so unreal.
The U.S.'s performance this World Cup is nothing short of amazing. You couldn't write a book or film a movie more exciting than this.

First of all, I think Donovons goal might have been the goal of the tourney so far!

But America in the 2002 world cup was very good too. They won against Portugal in the group stages and lost to Germany 1-0 on a bloody handball in the quarterfinals. I would wait to call this the best team yet. Let us see how they do in the next game, and potentially and hopefully, game after that.

The US was also robbed of two goals so far, one in the Slovenia game, which cost them two points, and another one in the Algeria game which cost American fans a steady heartbeat for the remainder of the game. (What a tense match that was).

It's England Vs Germany? That's a tough one. But in saying that England have some of the best players in the world, if they can play above the pressure they can beat the Germans no problem.

I mean we have players like Rooney, Cole, Gerard- guys play for the biggest teams in the world. I don't think the team play well together at the moment, and I am worried that there are a few too many individuals.

I will admit, the USA have surprised me though, good for you :D

Who are you playing in the quart final?

Yeah, that shit really needs to stop.
Honestly, we are going through at the top of our group, but if everything had been called fairly we would have been leaps and bounds ahead of the competition.
Oh well, they made it harder for us but you can't stop us. :D

BTW, FUCK Algeria and all of those meat-headed brutes on their team.
The entire match it looked like they were satisfied to simply go down and out, as long as they got to take the U.S. with them.

It's one thing to get fucked over by a goalkeeper, and another to get fucked by the refs.
Goalkeepers are a part of the team, that kind of error isn't blatantly unfair.

England has too much pressure as it is just in the fing Group Stages! England will choke infamously against Germany and suicide rate will sky rocket! while the country implodes to all the hooliganism! :D

Rooney cant come up for England, Cole is a dirtbag (both of them), and Stevie G is a diver! I think England need to field lesser know players and less superstars since that NEVER works out for them.

If Germany beats Ghana then Ghana face US and England faces Elimination.

And I don't disagree, as I said I have been really impressed with America and I am happiest that both teams got through (that disallowed goal was pathetic, wasn't offside and they fouled plenty of your players). They have been much more offense than England, which is why England will never win, they take no chances.

It's when the Wales national tram qualify, that's when you have to worry :D

They need to take down all the players attitudes, I mean France are a good example of that. They should field those players, but they do feel they are above the rest

If we get Germany, then that should make you happy- Ghana would be qiote obviously the easier option :p

Perhaps, but I think England played poor in the second half, not to get the 2-1 win. America showed some skill keeping the game tied. But even if America had lost 1-0 in that game, I think they would have still gotten second in the group and advanced, assuming everything else stayed the same.

Actually, come to think of it, what would have happened if England had won 1-0 over America and everything else had stayed the same? England would have 7 points. USA and Slovenia would have both had 4 points, 0 goal differential, 3 goals each, 3 goals given. What is the next tie breaker?

Either way, 5 points and first place based on goal difference, yes!

First off shitty reffing is a plague in football I mean sawker! :D

Anyways we top the English scum and thats that!
yeah Algeria was being a bit dirt but their keeper was great. Why are you surprised that they wanted take us down with them? I wasnt surprised in what pride would of taken place if Algeria draw to the US.

Is it just me, or did all the Algerian players look like bad guys from a Steven Segul flick?
A bunch of lurking meat-heads with fucked up blonde mohawks and such,
