I'm with ya'll there. I left the military and now work long hours, so have absolutely no social life. My wife (who I adore) and kids are 3 hours away so I only see them on the weekends. When I retired from the army I couldn't even find a job stacking lumber so I had to come to D.C to find work. Now 6-years later, I've joined this board looking to talk with people that aren't as hung up on themselves as most of the folks I seem to work around. I really dig the diversity of interests and opinions; I'm ADHD so my focus changes every few minutes.

 

I would love to have a new friend to chat with and share stories and thoughts

You can never have too many friends!
