I've been sick for like the last 2 days, I went to the inner-city hospital this morning to be diagnosed with Sinusitis.

I did all these tests, told them all my symptoms....I knew what the symptoms to get codeine or tussionex were..pain while coughing, and allergies. Which I have BOTH.

The fucked up thing is, the main doctor came to me and asked did I smoke...at first i thought he was talking about cigarettes..which i answered no, not anymore....then he said have i smoked any doobie or jay's, then he quickly said "has it been a while"...which i answered yes....( I am a TERRIBLE LIAR )

so after some time, they tell me their going to give me some cough drops and some nasal shit....But I KNOW they were probably going to give me codeine or tussionex, but they probably figured I would get high on it. Even though i actually needed the medicine.

I also told them my body ache...which it really does, it's painful, I can manage to fall asleep with the pain, but i still feel it and it's uncomfortable...they told me to take aspirin or something for the body aches...which did NOTHING. I thought they were going to at least prescribe me some pain medicine or something which they didn't.......since they figured out i "used to smoke", they automatically assume that I came in just to get narcotic drugs. Mind you, this is the inner-city hospital, so a lot of people DO do this.

It's fucked up cannabis smokers are treated like this, i should have gotten the medicine I deserved whether I've smoked or not. I havn't even smoked in weeks, it's not even in my system anymore.

If my symptoms don't go away, or it gets worse, i'm going to the hospital my mom works at.....these body aches are hurting me and i need some pain medicine.

Many doctors chose to only prescribe opiates for severe pain from an accident or surgery. I doubt it has anything to do with a possible cannabis use. Too bad since there are illnesses in which a little opiate brings about a profound improvement and far less suffering. Its a crapshoot in getting the right doctor, I've failed to get a good Rx with a torn ACl, a torn rotator cuff, severe sore throat, severe tooth aches (wisdom teeth exploding), sinus headache with cough and diarrhea.

Hey does anyone know how much prometh w/codeine syrup I should take to lean? I just snorted two fat lines of molly bythe way. I'm kinda coming down and I don't want too so I'm gonna sip some purple drank and put it in my mountain dew. How much should I put in there?

Man, if you want to get drugs from the ER to get high off of, then you just gotta do this simple shit. Look go to the ER at the registration desk tell them you're having kidney pain, pick a side. Now this is where the acting comes in. The hospital will assume its a kidney stone which are very painful might I add. So anytime you're sitting around waiting and when the nurses and doctors visit you, you have to hold your kidney put pressure on DO NOT STOP MOVING when you have a kidney stone there is no position you can be in that will relieve the pain. Putting pressure on it helps very very very little but it's good to add to the act. When the doctors ask where the pain is tell them in you're kidney and whatever side you picked. When they ask your pain level on a scale of 1-10 over exaggerate the number and say 20 or 30. When they ask you to describe the pain, this is what you say, it's dull and sharp imagine if you were a bubble with a needle inside you and the needle is tumbling around without popping you but any second it feels like you're gonna pop and become millions and millions of little bubble particles. They will do X-rays and cat-scans. Um when they first take you in for registration and they're taking your blood pressure they can tell if you're in pain or not by your blood pressure so think about something that really sets you off like 10-15 minutes before they call you up. But like I said you can't stop moving or moaning from the pain, if you're lucky they'll give you the pain meds before the cat scan if they don't there is a chance you won't get shit. So DONT STOP MOVING always keep trying to find that comfortable position but never able to accomplish doing so. If they say you need to have you're prostate checked REFUSE as this has nothing to do with your kidney, they'll ask if there is pain in your bladder area say not yet. Act like you've had a kidney stone before. And there you have it pain meds straight from the ER. First they'll give you morphine but after they give it to you settle down slightly if your want more meds but act like you're still in so much pain and they'll give you delaudid. The reason you can't stop moving is because if they know you can sit still for more then 5 minutes they'll put you on the cat scan before the meds they need you to be still so they get a good reading.

My doctor also takes the natural route. Which I'm all for most of the time but when I've come off a horse that "warm bath" ain't fixing it, doc.

BS like this is what makes it harder for people with legitimate problems to get the meds they need. It's to the point now that if you ask for pain meds they treat you like a junkie.
