I want to trip at the beach, but I am concerned about this location for a number of reasons. 1.) Will I have anxiety from having to stay here for several hours? We want to go around 12:30pm, so that means several hours in the sun... 2.) Is it likely that I will be bothered by other people around even though they will be relatively distant from me? 3.) How long should I wait to drive after taking LSD? 4.) Does anyone have any helpful suggestions or tips for a more pleasant experience? Also, this won't be my first time using.
1) You can reassure yourself that this is where you wanted to trip and maybe explore a bit if you feel anxious or bored at all. The beach has an extreme calming effect on me though. Unless its really hot you should be alright. Is there not any like little food/snack shops or stores nearby that you can go to for a bit as well? 2) No you shouldn't be to bothered by random people. Again I don't know your beach but the beaches around here usually have little coves or secluded areas that are kind of separate from the beach where rarely anybody goes. 3) 8 hours after ingestion is how long I would wait, it may vary though. You can kind of tell when you are coming down, maybe give it an hour after that feeling. if you have never driven intoxicated before maybe wait 10 but you would probably be alright driving on the comedown, as long as its not like a super congested area. 4) I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this. Bring music for sure, good company. If you are athletic at all bring like a frisbee/football/baseball or whatever you are most skilled at. I never would have thought but I was throwing rocks at this telephone pole on LSD and it was very thrilling, playing catch would be alot of fun I think.
when u come down it feels weird driving.. like a piece of flesh enclosed in jagged shards of metal and glass.. which is essentially what u are. you should never drive on acid, not even the comedown.
I'm confused If this isn't your first time doing it then you should have at least some idea as to the answers for your questions. I would say though that as it has been reported that a lot of acid going around this summer is rather strong, maybe you should err on the side of caution and reconsider your plans, especially if you are not really familiar with acid. As far as driving on acid, unless you are VERY familiar with psychedelics I would not recommend it. I have done it a few times, but I can also hold a conversation with someone and function completely normally externally while internally my world is a kaleidoscope of color and form. Experience is key here. Defiantly don't drive if you are experiencing major visuals or if you are easily distracted by awesome, pretty shit. Don't want to be checking out the bitchin' full moon while doing 60 on the highway.
Thanks for the replies. I am an inexperienced user as this would be my fourth time. I've been inside a house for the majority of two trips and once I tripped at a party. The last time I took LSD was one of those times were I was inside and it wasn't so pleasant. I had anxiety because the room was messy/dirty... I don't know if that's normal? People have highly recommended that I be outside this time. There is a bus that will pick us up and take us wherever in this particular area. So i think we might do that. Last time I tripped I couldn't even play rock band on the come down, lol.
I have tripped at the beach a whole bunch, its always been one of my fav spots. I mostly did it at night though. I always find being in nature while tripping very calming. The woods were another good spot. Like someone else said, if you dont know how strong it is you might want to be carefull. Sometimes I would buy extra just to try it out beforehand and see if I wanted to be in public. You never know what your getting, I have had 1 hit and couldent remember the next 11 hours, other times I took 5 hits and was fine. You could always bring a babysitter who's sober to make sure everything is ok, or more expierenced trippers. I never drove on acid, but I was in a car tripping with a driver on acid a bunch. I honestly dont know how something bad didnt happen. We would always drive these cruvey back roads with big cliffs next to them. It was awesome... but I wouldent suggest it. No one can really say how you'll feel in any situation, it's all pretty personal
I went naked at Brighton nudist Beach in England late 1990's. Loads of people around and I dropped some LSD. The day went soooo quick, it was cool. I just sat there, didn't go anywhere just let everyone have a good look at me. I sat near the wall at the back, right by pedestrians so there must have been hundreds of people, young, old, male, female who had a good view of me naked. The only time I done it on Acid though.
