I've just started using Forefox after a long time of using IE. It reminds me of Netscape back in the old days, and it's also less prone to viruses (in my experience). Though someone once told me it's possible to get a virus via a picture file, and Firefox doens't guard against this type, so watch out for that

The only thing with Firefox is that you can only compose in plain text when using hotmail.
But otherwise it is pretty good.

 

Yeah but hotmail is shit anyway ... try using it with any email client that wasn't built by microshaft

the greatest thing i've found about firefox is the tabs you can have instead of new windows, it leaves room on your start bar for other things.

microsoft suck so much, i dont know why they haven't been put out of business, even Mac computers are better.

 

I use Netscape 7.1, it's brill. Tabbed browsing has saved my life. I want to marry tabbed browsing and have tabbed browsing's children.

I know hotmail is owned by Micro$oft but I don't have to pay for it.Because it is web based any viruses written for the main page will get caught in their PC instead of mine.It has the latest attachment scanner. I have a Yahoo address as well but I generally prefer hotmail.

I have to disagree on the hotmail comment .. I have had hotmail for nearly 10 year now i think .. and having travelled so muxh its been invaluable as it has always been there. Its reliable and will continoue to be around while others dissapear .. plus I get 250 mb of storage free .. sorted

 

you should get gmail, that has 1000 megabytes of space, all for free, i can give you an invite if you want, in fact i can give anyone an invite if i have enough left. just ask

yeah i dont quite get that either, you get given 6 invites for friends and stuff and then they keep giving you more and more, it's insane
