You can tell when he gets irritated with a lot of stuff, like the contestants calling out letters out of turn or whatnot.

 

well she didn't win the million did she? u have to get the letter, solve that puzzle, go to Final Wheel, and solve that. and never hit bankrupt after you get the $1,000,000 thing to hold onto

but they really let her do that?

 

I dont know I didnt subject myself to all that. I do know she won that puzzle and the one before it.
I believe she called a "U" when she landed on "free play" not to be confused with "free spin". So maybe that has someting to do with it. They are always adding some weird thing to that show and they just expect you to go along with it.

Damn, I'm getting old. I remember when Wheel was new and Vanna had to actually TURN the letter boxes by hand, not just touch a screen.
Yeah, she's a millionaire and as far as I know that is the only thing she has ever done.
But from what I understand she is a very nice and decent human being.

 

On the version over here they still turn the letters by hand, I can't imagine it any other way!

And, I'm pretty sure on our one you can buy a vowel at any time, but I could be wrong

 

I remember those days too. They also used to have a VERY different prize system.
