thunder strorms :)

Had one for the passed 1.5-2 hrs, and Its supposed to keep going till 11 or 12. Probably about the best one we've had this year. Who else likes getting baked, and tripping out during a thunder storm.

I looove storms. It only stormed for about a half hour here, today. But it was nice.

It's sprinkled on and off all day here. Best times ever to chief and sit on the patio. I could listen to that shit forever.

And it puts me in the mood to sleep. Not just like "light nap" sleep, but a "knocked out cold" typa sleep.

i love thunder storms!!! except when i am stuck outside in them

but just yesterday we had a brief amount of rain, but extended thunder, rolling thunder. i was already really fucking high when it happened. i moved near windows and did yoga to the thunder...twas great!

lightning is amazing. in college we took this trip to Big Bend National Park in Texas. It was amazing all through out for so many reasons. so many different eco systems and environments in such a small (yet fairly large for a park) area. It's rare that it rains there, but we happened to catch storms a few times. ...One of the times was me and three of my friends sitting on a bench facing the mountains smoking two joints. we could see so much sky from where we were. as we smoked we watched three different strom cells coming from three different directions come together. It was WILD! the lightning was litterally forming tears in the sky, and shredding it as the storm came to be one. i remember writing in my stoned journal that night...god that was beautiful

 

I have this program on my iPhone called white noise. It has different constant noises which I find soothing to sleep to. I choose thunderstorm and poring rain. =]

 

I dunno in my head getting baked would be to get high or stoned. Tripping out would be being amazed by something that is enhanced while being baked.

For example: I got really stoned the other day ontop of a mountain. Being ontop of the clouds looked trippy.

 

Love me some thunderstorms.. we've had a few of them these past weeks.. last night it stormed really well while i was on 2c-e

 

Definitely something primal about a thunderstorm and the awe of watching its power while feeling safe from it. The urge to grab a blanket, hunker down and "cuddle" has to be ancient. The only thing I like better concerning the weather is a nice big snow storm and a fire. Makes me wanna start banging rocks together and grunting while I carve pictures on the wall.

 

the big part of this storm is avoiding rochester (i just turned on the news), but in my hometown (Allegany county NY) there is a tornado watch (or warning)

that sounds awesome.
one of the coolest rainstorms i recall was on the lake in my hometown. i happened to be on acid with a bunch of people, and we could see the storm coming from down the valley. we watched the rain approach and then a couple of us went swimming.

that's what i call tripping out i've also seen a pretty wicked rainstorm on 2ce. my sober GF was driving and the raindrops hitting the windshield produced some insane colors/visuals.

what was your dose? have you done 2ce (many times) before?

 

We havnt had a good thunder storm in 8 years the closest was 6 flashes in half an hour a few weeks back

Its sunny this morning but wow last night was a gooder. I burnt out n was passing out last night when I saw a giant flash and an instant CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCKKKK BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

fuck it woke me up 100% lol.

Shed, Arm Yourself With Your Favourite Pitch Fork, Then Stand In The

Middle Of An Open Field, And Hold The Pitchfork Aloft.....

The wind from the storm last night tipped over my mom's swing and I'm pretty sure it's broken now haha
