I've been doing a bit of thinking. If my leg gets broke, it gets shoved in a plaster cast to help it heal, heals its self, and the plaster gets removed. I don't have to permanently wear a plaster cast.

If my finger gets a small cut, I don't even need a plaster as long as I've eaten enough iron-containing foods etc. - it heals its self.

So it doesn't make sense that because my eyesight worsened, I have to permanently wear glasses or contact lenses (even if I got laser eye surgery I may still need glasses at night).

There MUST be a secret to healing them* - what is it?

*One that isn't going to cost "ONLY $12.99" from some American very long scam webpage.

i read somewhere that glasses are a mistake and with proper exercise the eye can regain functionality from myopia . search on , there are some physicians agreeing with your point of view (pun not intended).

I had corneal transplant surgery last year. Sorry to say, if I didn't take the steroid medicine I wouldn't be able to see.

You have to distinguish between injury and wear-and-tear. Our bodies, including the eyes, can often heal from injuries. There is no healing from wear-and-tear, and the injury/healing process is part of that wear-and-tear.

The changes in eyesight that occur with aging are wear and tear. They are not an injury, but just the process of general deterioration. You may as well get used to it, along with wrinkles and flab around the waistline.

Having said that, you can slow the deterioration by not wearing glasses for as long as you can. It gives the lenses more exercise, so the muscles don't get flabby quite as quickly.

An exercise I've read about is taking a book and putting it as close to your face as you can and still read it and read for about 5 minutes. Then take the same book and hold it as far from your face as you can and still focus and read for about 5 minutes. If you do this every day you will be able to move the book microscopically each day not enough for you to notice at first but eventually you will be able to get greater extremes with your sight. In our sight and our hearing we usually lose the extremes first ie near and far or High and Low.

    Peace Out,

Just because some traumatic injuries, if they're not too serious, can heal completely by themselves doesn't necessarily mean that degenerative conditions can.

I certainly don't know if it's possible to avoid wearing glasses by undergoing some exercise regime. Let us know if you find out :)

Ive been wearing the same rx contacts for the past 7 years (since I first started wearing them) so I dont know that they will make your eyes worse.

In the book "The Secret" She claims she regained her vision in something like 2 days by beliving she would.
I dont think it's that easy, but you would think there would be a way.

I had taken these herbal eye health pills a while ago. I only took em for a month but during that time my night vision improved alot. After I stopped taking them it went back to where it was. I dont know if I took em longer if it was supposed to stick. I cant remember what they were...I'll have to ask my mom (she took em and said they helped ALOT)
