What I need are questions people might have about living in the jungles of Central America.

I have the general why and how I moved here.

I got stuff about monkeys, snakes, Jaguars, Panthers, etc.

I got the bug stuff, plus the Malaria experience.

I have the stuff about the dangers of where I live. Man and animal.

I have the whole jungle collective experience and how it has changed me.

I go into some of the local culture in Belize.

But I need other things to write about.

I have not posted this in Writing becase I just want questions people might have.

    Plus this is non fiction.
So I really do not need creative insight.

RT has curious interesting people....What would you ask someone about living in the jungle in Belize?

    :prettyplease:

Do your testicles emit a different odor when combined with the jungle air?

That's not a valid question for this thread. Please stay on topic and ask something like: "Are there as many Africans in the jungle and are they emancipated from both physical AND mental slavery?"

None but themselves can free their minds, after all.

Do the locals believe in the ancestral prescience of their forebears who predicted the end of the world in 2012?

You might find some African descendants in central America but I imagine the majority of the population are descended from Spain and the Americas.

Well the food is very simple. Chicken, Rice and beans. The majority of the country eats that 3 times a day.

So the main dishes are nothing impressive.

Tropical fruit is awesome though. But yes I will go into food.

Don't know a woman called Flora. But as I am a plant person I will touch on plants.

However I am working on 2 books that cover plant cultivation in the tropics.

Belize has a very large Mayan population.

When I question them they indicate they think it 2012 will bring great changes.

That does not seem like an earth shattering revelation. Anyone can see we are in the process of major change.

It has also been pointed out to me that the Mayan Calendar is based on the cycles of the moon.

So there is a good deal of people who just think it starts all over.

None of the Mayans I have questioned think it is the end of the world.

The main African influences are Garifuna and Kriol.

There is a very significant population of Africans.
