Knight and Day Movie Blurb by Shale June 25, 2010 Suspension of Disbelief. That is the key to enjoying this movie as with all the James Bond flicks and about any other movie where the rogue super agent takes out scores of regular agents who apparently all failed on the shooting range. This was an action, shoot-em-up romantic comedy that showcased Tom Cruise as Roy Miller, the possibly insane, wayward super agent. Not Pierce Brosnan's Bond, but very close And, Cameron Diaz as June Havens, the unwitting mark who is drawn into his life of intrigue and danger. Yes, it is much like the less effective Killers of a few weeks past. Oh yeah, Tom takes his shirt off a couple of times Tom is still a very attractive, 48-year-old leading man and Cameron Diaz makes a nice love interest altho her character here vacillates from a screaming airhead to a confident and competent partner of a super agent. I would've gone with less of the comedic airhead scenes. The story is full of action scenes where Cruise and Diaz do their own stunts, mostly in car and motorcycle chases and running on rooftops. Y'know, I don't think you really need much of a story here. You know the kind of flick it is, so who really cares why Roy Miller is being chased or why he draws Judy into this world. Just sit back, suspend disbelief, watch and enjoy a mindless, summer action flick with a still charming Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
There isn't enough money in the world to make me wanna suspend my disbelief enough to watch this movie.
