Dunno, alcohol can get me pretty riled for it- but then there's little buddy problems, when too drunk :D

Weed doesn't have the same effect in the short term, but it makes me damn tired and lazy. Point is, they are both pretty equal in my book. It's a personal preference or opinion for everyone to make, I suppose.

Well if I know the person and we have done something sexually intimate before weed all the way. Weed feels better and I perform better without a doubt.

But if I do not know the person all that well on any sort of physically intimate level, alcohol is better for breaking down social inhibition and possibly leading to something.

Its a rather moot point for me these days seeing as I rarely use either.

Alcohol generally isn't conducive towards sexual intercourse.
It increases the desire to have sex, but actually decreases the ability to do so.
    As Shakespeare once put it:

"Drink, sir, is a great provoker of three things . . . nose-painting, sleep, and urine. Lechery, sir, it provokes, and unprovokes; it provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance. "

^possibly that was the case in the 16th century but Im sure many of todays partying high school students, college students (especially sorority and fraternity members), and a significant percentage of the bar scene would disagree with you, but you are entitled to your own opinion.

...and notice that quote specifically says effectss performance, which I agree with but it can help seal the deal.

They are entitled to their own opinions as well, but they'd be incorrect.
Human biology hasn't changed much since the 16th century, and neither have the physiological effects of alcohol. What Shakespeare and I are asserting is common knowledge.

I'm not sure if we are saying the same thing or not because those first two bullet points of the second paragraph is exactly what I'm saying. I do realize it reduces performance and probably with heavy abuse kills libido but many many many people across the u s of a get laid every weekend due to the effects of alcohol, regardless of performance.

Its kind of one of the most appealing elements of bar/club life.

I never denied it's deftness as a social lubricant, nor people's proclivity to use it as such, and even originally stated that it increases the desire to have sex. A desire that is mutually increased (male and female) so of course it leads to more people being laid.
All I was saying is that, while you are more likely to get laid, it actually makes it much more difficult to achieve orgasm or even to get an erection, and even if you actually manage that, the sex itself is generally unresponsive, insensitive, and woefully unsatisfying, which makes it a poor candidate to be used "before you get all excited".

neodude has the info right. Alcohol does increase the prospect of having sex (especially when you give some to the female).

But it subtracts very much from the pleasure of sex (for the male - I'm not certain about how it affects female senses).

I simply misunderstood what he wrote and if you refer to my first post in this thread you will see its exactly what I said, but with less fancy jargon.

You didn't say anything wrong whatsoever. It's all based a persons own perception, fuck what the 'facts' say

and either way that was all bullshit. Sure alcohol makes performance worse, but what was asked is what is worse

alcohol or weed!? I see no sign of comparison in those figures anywhere. It's all about booze. Let's say this, from my own personal perspective I find myself performing better when drunk and not on drugs. I cannot handle drugs anymore, it doesn't make me wrong for favouring one over the other

alcohol could be terrible, but in m eyes drugs are as well. Show me evidence of which is worse, not why one is solely bad.

To each their own, and God bless all of you who can sustain a boner when high as a kite ;)

Each of us has an opinion on which we like better than the other. No bullshit involved.

Weed for sure. Getting hard seems impossible when I'm drunk.
