I watch the unwashed masses creep out of their boxes and into the streets. The Divided States of America are proud on this day. Shooting off their guns and playing with their sparklers. “Independence Day” they scream. They shout.
I set a flame to the American flag in all it’s fading glory. To see the light behind america. The tainted dream, the scarred reality of lost visions. The souls of this world burned and destroyed at the hands of our leaders.
While our sons and daughters are overseas, murdering the innocent and slaying children in the streets. While they are driving their tanks through the public squares and terrorizing an entire people. On THIS DAY, we shall stand PROUD!! We will set fire to sparklers across the land, every trailer park and ghetto in this nation shall be in unity.
So Today, be proud of “Country”. The land of the freak and the home of the slave. May your guns be loaded, and your hearts filled with joy. Happy 4th of July America…
    You’ve earned it.

I can't remember that ever occuring in that way.
Yes, innocent people have died in Iraq/Afghanistan. That's a tragedy.
But it seems a tad out-dated to make some over generalised polemical statement like you did...when you consider Nato forces are working with Iraqi/Afghani troops now.
From the very start this was occuring too:
    http://www.rusi.org/downloads/assets/Matthews_and_Lucas_0207_RDS.pdf
    http://www.gao.gov/highrisk/risks/national-challenges-iraq/

It just felt like an out-dated argument/statement/comment you were making.
It's always been more complex than you suggest, now even more so.

Heck, I might be just a tad bored of hearing what you said.

Just sayin' not trying to shut you up just tell you how I feel.
