I just found out last week that I am diabetic. It runs in my family,
along with procrastination and many creepy diseases. Anyway, my
    sister said I couldn't be a vegan or a vegetarian and a diabetic.Anybody
have good info on this? When I give blood my blood proteins and irons
    are always good(better than sisters!)
    peace

Your Doctor will probably tell you you can be vegetarian or vegan while diabetic if you choose to do so. (Be sure to do the talking to the Doctor part)

I am diabetic also and I am also a vegan. I have not had any problems, as a matter of fact my blood sugars are in the normal range. But here is a link for you to check out, http://www.pcrm.org/health/clinres/diabetes.html, don't think just because you have diabetes that things are going to be difficult, just keep checking your sugars and do everything your diabetes doctor tells you. Hope this helps :)
