It keep skipping and popping like it's a scratched cd or something. It only happens when I listen to music in itunes, which is the only media player I use. Any ideas what it might be?
ITunes uses so much system resources its not even funny. unless you're syncing your ipod, you should just use VLC media player.
I refuse to use VLC for music, it is so un user friendly and hard to see when fucked up. I also hate windows media player. Any other suggestions? I have been looking for something new.
I like Media Player Classic. It's another one of those low profile players. I'm not sure where I got it from. I think it came bundled with the k-lite codec pack. But here's a link to the direct download. http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/download-media-player-classic-hc.html
FooBar 2000 is the best replacement for itunes I have found! It is user friendly, looks nice, and supports everything.
I don't like either one of those. Everything is to hard to see and unorganized. I have 3,000 and something songs. So far I tried fubar 2000 and media player classic.
I keep everything in one folder, complete albums or series' in subfolders. I just use windows explorer to search or browse, and just select play straight from there. But like I said before, the only thing Itunes is good for is syncing your Ipod.
I have way more than 3000 songs and I use foobar with ease, but then I took advantage of its easy customization. Took maybe 10 minutes.. This is what it looks like..
