I keep having dreams about flooding, and the first two times, my truck was swept away by huge rapids. The second time it was swept away i was in the truck and almost drown. The dream i had last night was also about flooding, but my famil and i were running from it, but we couldn't get away from it, and this time it wasn't swift water, it was just very gentle and deep, and we came back to the house we had started in. I read that it could mean i feel emotionally overwhelmed. I'm just looking for a little bit more interpretation.

Yes, dreams of flooding often do have something to do with being emotionally overwhelmed. I'm very cautious about dream dictionaries. Different symbols mean different things for different people. If you dream about walking around in India, it can mean a desire to travel and experience new things. However, if you're from India, it seems pretty clear that it would have a different meaning.

So with that in mind, what does your truck represent for you? Is it a way of getting from one place to another? Is it something you use for work? Do you have lots of special memories about your truck that could influence what it means in the dream?

When you say that you and your family were running from the flood, it makes me think that you are possibly overwhelmed about something connected to your family. It could be worry about a move, a divorce, money problems or fighting in the family or other stuff. The fact that you went back to the house suggests that the problem that might exist isn't as bad as it might seem.
