I know this thread is old but i was reading through it and saw this. I've only had dreads for about 7 months but i was wondering what you use to condition your dreads?

I believe she was talking about conditioning with conditioner but at 7 months you certainly don't want to do that... I guess some peoples use aloe vera or something... I dunno

 

Plain old supermarket no frills conditioner. I've had my dreads for a while and I wouldn't recommend you using conditioner yet. However, Lush do a leave in moisturising balm for afro hair called R&B. I use it myself and it's not as extreme as supermarket conditioner. You only need the smallest amount and I really mean that, barely put some on your finger. Smells good too..

Or Aloe vera works good too.
