I am aware that a popular vendor database has recently(somewhat) made the switch to the TOR hidden service. While this is all good and well, TOR takes ages to load and makes vendor-hunting a much more tedious task.

Well, being the lazy forum-lurking sumbich I am, have found that simply replacing the ".onion" with ".tor2web" allows viewing of the webpage in question without having to install the TOR bundle.

    Hopefully some will appreciate this.

tor is hella annoying but obviously all security measures teleologically decrease efficiency.

    thanks for the tip

The complication of the tor network is what makes it work. Public access is what got the site shut down in the first place. It is a helpful tip, and thanks, but i don't think this should be public information. Thanks though!
