An extremely pleasant 2cb Overdose

i had taken 2cb at the 25-50 mg range four times in the past. My experience with this material was that it was sensual, euphoric, a bit speedy/energizing, not terribly psychedelic and only slightly visible at higher doses. For some reason it didn't seem to affect me like it did other people. They were describing profound effects at much lower doses than i was typically using (40-50 mg after first experience using only 25).

So, i was at a festival and i had four 2cb doses that the dealer claimed were 25 mg each. i had taken this dealer's product before and found it to be like the others i had taken. My best experience on his product had been at 50 mg.

Since i was at a festival, i decided to begin with a single 25 mg dose, but to keep another one handy and to redose 1-2 hours later if needed. So, i dosed while i was in my tent and decided to at least wait until it started coming on before heading for the field where the music was.

It came on fairly fast, i'd say i started feeling real effects 30-40 mins in. It quickly built in intensity. i was becoming a bit surprised. i was getting really high really fast and things were starting to melt in a way that was more visual than i had experienced on my previous dose of 50 mg. Also, the nausea was formidible.

After a few mins i quit fighting it and let go with the meager contents of my stomach (a few well digested grapes and some water) into a bucket. It was a rather aggressive and surprising purge. By the time it was over i had tears in my eyes (just from physical stress). Also by the time it was over, the trip was now really ON.

i was floored. i had never gotten anywhere near this high on 2cb before and i wasn't peaking yet. If i had to guess the dose based on the effects i'd guess 70-80 mg. It was incredibly visual. My tent was breathing/melting. Everything was distorted. My mind was tripping balls. Closing my eyes yielded visions of pink, blue and purple scenes with entities! The longer i looked/deeper i went the more these scenes became more 3D and completely immersive. This was insane! Nothing at all like my previous 2cb experiences.

i was completely nailed to the mattress in my tent, taken away by the drug effects. i actually lost conscious awareness for about 20 mins at/near the peak. i know people often say i "blacked out," but i am sure i was fully conscious, just that i lost my memory/conscious awareness of what happened during that intense time.

After a couple hours had passed i stumbled out of the tent to hit the restroom. Stumbled into my neighbor and nearly tripped (literally) on his tent ties. He was kind and understanding. i think i was radiating electric paisleys or something.

i got back from the ladies' room (Want to know how truly high you are? Lock yourself in a bathroom stall!) and collapsed into my lawn chair. The stars were dancing and trailing/spiraling around in the sky. It was a fantastic show. i still couldn't believe how high i was and how high i had just been.

Soon after this i went to attend the evening's festivities and had a wonderful time. Half the fun was just watching all the psychedelic folk while i was in that state myself.

The next morning and for a good amount of time afterward i felt like something had happened during that trip that i couldn't quite grasp or remember. Some sort of healing. Some sort of dropping away or work on the anger that had manifested in my recent 2ce experience. i'm not really sure. If i had been home i might have tried some self-therapy and chased it with and MDMA dose to see what i could find/consolidate. But, i was in hedonistic festival mode, so i may have missed a bit of an opportunity. Yet, i feel i have still gained - it need not be in my conscious mind to help/heal.

A powerful and amazing experience. Felt comfortable (other than the purge and slight body load) throughout. Very pleasant/euphoric, just more psychedelic/euphoric than i knew 2cb could be.

CONCLUSION: Make no assumptions. 1. Always break capsules open and measure out my own doses. 2. Understand that even low doses can have strong effects at times especially when material is cooking just below conscious awareness levels.

i've watched a friend take 100mg to the FACE and suffer no ill effects; would you ever consider dosing that high again? talk about bang for your buck!

i would definately consider dosing that high (or even higher) again but i would like to know that that's what i'm doing. i'm not a big fan of getting "stuck in the tent" at festivals if you know what i mean.

So, knowing i was safely enconsed at home, probably in bed, sitter/husband & puke bucket nearby, i'd be willing to try 75 to 100 mg in the future.

This is a really neat and gentle material. Throughout my profoundly strong experience i felt little or no discomfort, physical or psychological. i got a number of surprises, such as 3D CEV's and dancing pink/purple entities as well as a bit of a "black out," and a strange, inexplicable feeling of healing. Being better prepared, i suspect i would not loose any memories . . .

so you took an assumed 25 mg of what your dealer said was 2cb, right?

i think you know, it could have been a higher dose and/or a different drug.

are you saying you think it was 70 mg 2cb, or that's just what it felt like?
could have been a precise 25 mg 2ce

 

IME, 2c-b and 2c-e are worlds apart...this was my first thought, but wouldn't you be able to tell the difference between 2c-b and 2c-e pretty easily?

are you in fact sure that it was actually 2c-b? did it feel exactly like 2c-b has in the past?

 

yeah i was wondering the same thing. i've never done 2c-b but it seems like 25mg is a light dose, and from these effects you describe 2c-E would be a more likely candidate.

idk...2c-b has a very distinct "feel" IMO...it's always been completely different from all the others i've tried [though the 2c-x compounds i've tried have all been very different].

who knows.

Sorry if i wasn't clear. It is a bit of a mystery and i do not have access to a GC/MS.

Here are the facts (just the facts):

1.) i had taken what was sold to me as 2cb four (4) times in the past in the 25-50 mg range.

2.) i had taken 2cb (or what was sold to me as 2cb) at the 50 mg range from this dealer (call him Bee) once before.

3.) The capsule i took that night was from the batch of "25 mg 2cb" pills i bought from Bee, the same batch that had yielded the pleasant but not profoundly visual experience of 2.) above. i only took the one (1) and was baseline at the time of dosing (other than a bit of cannabis).

4.) i have never broken open Bee's capsules to weigh their contents so i cannot absolutely confirm the dose.

5.) i had taken 2ce (18 mg) once before this incident. This (The 25 mg 2cb cap) material did NOT feel at all like 2ce, subjectively to me. i was overwhelmed, ass kicked and lost some memory but the entire thing was delightful, playful, pleasant, funny, hilarious, healing, etc. Very different from my rather dark (psychologically) and uncomfortable (physically) 2ce experience Of course my set and setting were quite different and during this incident i did NOT have my sitter near by.


It's a real mystery to me. Could Bee's chemist have made a stupid measuring error or just done something a bit on the funny (yet sadistic) side by tripling the dose in one?

i understand and have significant experience on how set and setting can affect/color a trip. That was definately a factor here BUT the effects achieved were quite profound and inexplicable using the singular (or dual) variable(s) of set & setting.


It was a great experience. i WILL intentionally do something like this again, but safely home in bed with no need to be anywhere. i suspect a lot of insight and personal work could be done/gained. Also, the idea of following up with an MDMA dose after something like this happens sounds very appealing.
