I am always or almost depressed. 'They' say well you can't fight
it alone so I go to a medical doctor and a therapist who basically
say its up to me. That makes no sense to me! Why the hell would
I go to them for help if they want me to use will power or something
    to get over it?
I have lost hope. Things aren't going to get better I am just doomed.
My various medical conditions and meds all make me more tired so
I sleep more and then get depressed that i have slept more. I worthless
to myself and those around me...
I don't have the guts to kill myself, who knows where I would go it would
probably be worse or I would just be maggot food.

I suffer from nearly constant bipolar depression and have since age 11. It is awful, but I have some days where I can get things done and not hate my life.

I have been depressed several times in my life but usually after some pretty fucked up events

    1) after I lost my virginity (I was coerced into it and regretted it big time)
    2) after my best friend and I started dating and then he stopped talking to me until I broke up with him...........lost the friendship which hurt the most
    3) during an emotionally abusive relationship
    4) after I moved to a new city where I didnt know anybody at all (all of my friendships and my romantic relationship were long distance for a while after moving)
    5) at a job that was run by some fucking crazy employers

For the first time in a long time I have been depression free for about a year. I am not on meds (never have been) but simply started making better decisions and cutting negative things out of my life. I also I am able to trust my instiincts better and find strength in myself. Developing positive coping mechanisms has helped big time too.
