Okay so I'd like to have an understanding about what other people's experiences of oneness were like. It's a popular theme: we're all one, I am you, you are me, yadda yadda big deal. But can you describe the experience?

Did it represent itself visually or was it just 'revealed' information?
Did you create some sort of metaphysical interpretation to understand it?
What kind of emotions did you experience when you realized everything is one?

I don't get it...if were really all one, then why won't my friend's sister let me screw her? Sounds like a hoax to me.

It's predestination man; if your friend's sister let you screw her, your future black bodybuilder soul mate would not be able to take rapturous pleasure in ass raping the virginity out of you. Some things simply aren't meant to be.

Sure it is! Just because the experience is so profound doesn't mean it shouldn't be understood. Why psychedelic substances (and other spiritual practices) produce a conscious experience of interconnectedness and being one with everything is an intriguing question which merits serious investigation but is too often associated with the overwhelming flakiness of drug users to be taken seriously. If the experience is at all relevant to our understanding of our universe then it should be studied, dissected, understood, communicated and integrated into the popular rational worldview.

First off, everything IS one no matter what. Even duality is just a reflection of the same One. But not to get too philosophical and technical....

I feel that there are many different ways to recognize the oneness. It's much more ordinary than you would think. Usually for me, in relation to another human being, a clear cut way to see the oneness is in the eyes. Just face yourself directly, and recognize that you are the One, disguising itself in many forms. The eyes of another human being have been crucial for me in this sort of way.

    Hope this helps.

I feel that the subject is already well "known" and communicated about. Maybe not rationally dissected and expressed with the words of science but it is well known among those who have experienced it and driven deeper within it. It is a true mystery. Although we may know that it exist and is possible, will we ever truly comprehend and understand it when we are not one?

Ever think "Geez! How could I possibly be that person?"

Anyways yeah, I've had similar thoughts, in that there is some essential quality inherent in everyone which is the same. 'I would be you if I were born you.' However; genetics, environment, history and chaos distance us from what we share.

Yea, that is the mystery, in that it takes your sense of self directly out of your body. "Personally", i'm at a place where my individual identity is extremely transparent, yet it thankfully doesn't whipe out my individuality.

Anyway, the One will never be figured out. It's infinite. But what is the One? Whatever it is, i would say that it's more essential than any object, or any manifestation. Consciousness is not really a "thing"...whether that be a rock or a human or a tree, yet it pervades within all things and is the essential groundwork of all manifestation. It's the space in which the universe breathes perhaps. I don't know.

And as you said, "genetics, environment, history and chaos distance us from what we share", i get that, but that's the sort of beauty of it. Our essential nature is exactly the same. We're not even connected at our core, we're the exact same. But the beauty is that this same "no-thingness" manifests in an infinite amount of ways and diversities and unique experiences and personalities, etc.

    Pfff...Thats easy.

Just take about 500ugs of good LSD and you will have your answers.
    Simple.

"Did it represent itself visually or was it just 'revealed' information?"
    It just was

"Did you create some sort of metaphysical interpretation to understand it?"
    It just is

"What kind of emotions did you experience when you realized everything is one?"
All of them and none at all.

It just is. You just are. We just are.
To try to apply any further definition or adjectives to the experience just diminishes it and in the second you try to describe it, you fall far from it.

I've had the whole oneness experience quite a few times and I interpreted it similarly but different each time. Sometimes it's just a theme in thought while tripping, sometime it's a full-blown visual. Just wanna get an idea for how others experienced it.

While the meaning of the experience may be interpreted in an infinitude of ways, why we experience it likely has a solid answer.

Thats the beauty of it. Each experience can be different but wholly valid and accurate each time. It has more to do with YOU then anything else.
It's a tough question because youre asking people to put into words that which transcends language.

meditating stoned makes me feel great love for all person's spirits, I feel how they are interconnected and how a slight change can move energy in a positive way. I also feel like I'm flying/floating and like particles, I love it :)
