But you have to remember that there are a lot of weird, sexually-obsessed people in the L&S forum. There are a lot of people who make sick, fucked up posts about the same topic over and over, not to get attention, but because it's all they think about. And of course, there are also those who do it for attention. This guy could be either.

 

I disagree entirely. I understand it's not a free-for-all, but a primal attraction to another human being, regardless of age cannot be described as sick. There's understanding moral and social responsiblity to protect the youth, and to make decisions based upon what is acceptable within your given society, but the law does not = moral fabric, and it's a mistake to consider it as such.

I find it sick people are so willing to beat a man in a street for lack of understanding his problems, rather then listening to what they have to say.

I know this is a bad example, as this guy is clearly a little strange, and like others have said, probably just wanting attention. But The point remains - This guy confessed in a forum designed for such acts, and instead of humane advise and support, you all hid around a corner and jumped him.

Strange how society has conditioned our morality.

No I agree, the Mods won't be against your anti-paedophilic views, and nor am I. In fact I highly commend them.

I've just always found that trying to help people and guide them away from things is more effective then shouting "you sick bastard!" or something similar.

Then again, I'm in complete understanding why you reacted like you did, and I'm not trying to say you're wrong for how you acted. I just disagree with the hows and whys.
