"Young man, what is it you want from me?" "I seek patience, peace and certainty. But you'll not lend yourself to me." "I give you what I can, take as much as you need." "I seek patience, peace and certainty. You only give with abeyance and heed." "Young man I don't give you that which you don't give yourself. My heed is your impatience, my candor your lack of peace. I am certain that you seek your own uncertainty." "That's absurd! I have been seeking long and without rest." "Is it? You cannot seek that which you don't already possess." "If that is so why would I ask, for that which you withhold?" "It is you that bides with grip too tight. Grasp with your mind and your heart, not your might." "I seek patience, peace and certainty. I want now what you have to provide." "I provide nothing but myself, take as much as you need. 'Now' is all I can give to you. You possess all that you seek." "I don't have time to bide on the matter. I'll seek elsewhere if you can't provide. As patience is not yet a virtue of mine." "Young man, seek inwards. I will always provide. Regardless of where you choose to seek, I'll be there, for I am time."
In this land of instant gratification(america) we all could use a little more patience young and old alike
damn bravo man very very intriguing made me think a lot about things of stories ive heard the poems ive wrote and my life. First I though it was god to whom the man or woman was talking to but when you wrote, "I'll be there, as I am Time." that was freaking genius.
