    Hi there PhunkyFresh...

As a huge Barefoot Manner fan, I will most definitely be at Thanksgathering on Saturday. I also really like Moonshine Still, so this pretty much seals my fate to attend on Saturday, but I'm flying home from Maine, so I won't be able to go to Ziggy's on Friday.

If you live near the Triad (sounds like you do), you should come to Greensboro on Friday to see Barefoot at the Blind Tiger...

Going to be some wild fun!!!

    Peace out...

Attention all NC 'Heads... Come to Thanksgathering...

    YOu will enjoy...

TieDyeJim made these AMAZING Barefoot Manner Tie Dyes that he was selling at Smilefest...

At the time, I was just getting familiar with Barefoot Manner... Now that I'm a certified MannerLUNATIC, I really want one of those shirts...

Speaking of Barefoot Manner, LaurelBayTree... ARe you familiar with them? Did you go to Mannerland? Some of your pics in your gallery make me think you look familiar...

But beautiful organic women aren't so RARE on this message board... :H

    Peas...

I'm gonna try and make it, I've only missed one of them. Besides, I'm getting 4 of my favourite bands in one weekend. I'm really looking forward to seeing The Still again. If I make it I'll be in my usual location (The taping section).

Just a quick note to bump this to the top...

To any Heads who live in the Triad / Triangle section of North Carolina, or for those of you willing to make a very worthwhile drive...

    Night 2 of Thanksgathering!

Come see Raleigh's best kept secret, Barefoot Manner and Athens-based Moonshine Still... Ziggy's (in Winston-Salem, near LJVM Coliseum)...There will be potluck lunch at 3 and an afternoon full of good music and kind people.

The payoff will happen at 10 p.m. when Moonshine Still takes the Stage...And the awesome finale will result in Barefoot Manner's 500th show at midnight UNTIL...

For those of you who like to dance, come check out Hank Smith and the boys and their version of Late Night Boogie SpaceGrass... It will be worth your while...They have described themselves as "bluegrass instrumentation without boundaries" and they blend all manner of musical influences into a satisfying, compelling mix. If you see the Manner men, you will not regret it.

I recorded all sets from both nights and from what little I've had a chance to listen to so far, they sound nice. :)
