Consumption of moderate amount of kava weekly (powder root/tea). Kava is said to be a reversible MAO-B inhibitor. Could this interact with lsd? Is it even an issue (safety) ?

Wikipedia also states "..inhibits the reuptake of noradrenalin at the transporter (NAT), but not of serotonin.."

    Thanks.

It sounds like it might be a good combination. There are no restrictions with MAOB inhibitors and it should be safe. Its not like ayahuasca, the MAO function won't improve bioavailability. I think it would make things a little more relaxed with a good dose of kava and low to moderate dose of acid. I can imagine that too much acid would over power Kava.

Thanks for your replies. So it's safe to assume a week of abstinence from kava will not interfere with lsd.

you are not going to try and mix them? Marijuana and Kava go amazing together, I understand we are referring to different receptors here but unless it's impossible to get more acid you should try and mix them.

For sure a week abstinence from kava would be fine if that's what you are worried about...
