Powder it finely and then add small amounts of water to the powder. Mix and add water until it's doughy, then take bite-size pieces out of the mass (I used a butter knife to do this) and swallow them, washing each down with a swig of apple juice or something. I didn't taste the bitterness at all until I ran out of apple juice and had to wash it down with water. Nausea's pretty low too. I just did this by the way so I'll report back on how it worked but I have a feeling it's going to be great
Thats actually the exact method that I did last time I partook of san pedro. I agree it completely eliminates the taste issue...my only issue was the fact that 35grams (what I took) was a LOT of material; believe it came out to roughly 20 nickle-sized balls. In any case enjoy; I know you will! report back
thats how we eat dried peyote in the NAC. powder it up, add water, spoon it in and wash it down with peyote tea.
It was perfect! Barely any nausea except when I ate too big of a blob one time. But otherwise the trip was smooth and beautiful and profound and nausea-free.
Peyohausca? That's how I wanna try Ayahuasca the first time around; with all four Yage, aka, Banisteriopsis caapi (probably yellow vine), Peyote, aka, Lophophora williamsii, Chaliponga, aka, Diplopterys cabrerana, and Chacruna, aka, Psychotria viridis. I am curious if the mescaline would mellow out the trip some since it kinda has that supposed trance-like effect (others who've taken Peyote would hafta attest to this on my behalf as I have yet to try mescaline or Peyote).
I was saying that people have dubbed Peyohuasca as a sorta new thing being done that's gaining popularity. Sometimes they'll use San Pedro, Peyote, etc. Just whatever cacti they've got that contain mescaline. When you did Ayahuasca, did you mix all three the Yage, Chacruna, & Chaliponga? Or did you go the Syrian Rue/Mimosa hostilis route or how?
I just toss and wash dried cactus powder. It's something that you have to do right, but makes it pretty easy if you can. I have only used bridgesii so far, so i don't know if this is true for the other strains, but if you can get powder that is only made from the outer green flesh, it seems to be pretty strong so you aren't swallowing a whole lot.
No one actually answered my question, so I'm going to repost this. Can anyone go through step by step and describe how to "powder" a cactus? I don't care to know how to buy one powdered or anything like that. I have cacti. I want to know how to powder one. I'm guessing it involves a dried cactus. Please do not describe how to blend a cactus with lemon juice. I'm already aware of this method. I'm looking to find out about powdering a cactus or creating cactus powder.
cut, peel green flesh, discard white flesh and core. cut into small chunks or thin strips lay out in single layer on baking sheet either leave out in the sun or heat in a low, 150 degree, oven until dry crush with coffee grinder or similar utensile.
I found a site that sells dried ground/unground skins of Bridgesii, it sells them in 30 gram increments and then 100 gram increments. I've never done cacti before, I can find online about how much to take when you are in possession of the whole cactus, but how much should I take it if it's just the skins. I know the alkaloid content varies in each cactus, but could anybody give me a rough estimate of how many grams of cactus skins I should take? Would 30 grams give me a strong trip or would it have to be closer to 100 grams?
Alright good, I was hoping coughing up 20 bucks for 30 grams of Bridgesii wasn't going to give me mild/unnoticeable trip. I've been wanting to try mescaline for a long time, a strong mescaline trip. Thanks for the info.
