go to a city park after 3/4 days hot ans heavy rain.. Look in the woods, look in the grass they mow and dump in one spot, the mulch storage spot at the park..
Research mushrooms species native to your area and find out what they grow on. After some rainfall go out and look for suitable habitats, you should easily find some mushrooms.
Be VERY careful that you do not posion yourself, many mushrooms look alike, but if yo do find something you will be so glad you didn't pay for something you found for free in the ground.
