Plan B Side Effects Lasting A long Time

Ok so Friday night the condom broke. The next day I went and got Plan B One Step and took it Saturday afternoon. I didn't really feel any side effects until Sunday morning when I woke up with nasty stomach cramps. It's now Tuesday night and I'm still having stomach cramps, fatigue, and headaches. Every time after I eat my stomach begins to hurt and I have to run to the bathroom and have diarrhea.
Does anyone know if I should still be having side effects this long after taking Plan B? Or could this be something else? If it is side effects how long will they last? does anyone know?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_contraceptive_pill#Side_effects talks about this a little. It says the most common side effects are like what you had, and they usually go away within a few days. But, you should get medical advice from doctors, not internet boards.

 

I took Plan B once too. At first I felt nothing but then like 24 hours after the last dose I was feeling pretty nauseous and had cramps as well. It actually states these side effects in the package. But mostly I just took it easy and ate light. It almost felt like pregnancy symptoms. But they didn't last longer than a day for me.

 

I don't think diarrhea is linked to Plan B... they may be unrelated incidents.

Good job being responsible though! Plan B is a fantastic option. I'm glad you took it.
