G'day to all! Quite new to this forum, though been following numerous threads here. I have also just joined the dreaded brother(andsister)hood about 3 weeks ago. I am extremely glad I found this forum as it has taught me a few lessons I should have known beforehand. I know how taboo it is but I will admit I used bees wax when first getting them, backcomb method. After finding this glorious info-hole several days later I washed it all out. So thank you to all the members on here for the FAQ's and Starter Tips. What I really want to say about all this is my personal connection with my new dreads. To me it is/will be an extreme lesson of patience. I personally can be very impatient and being a member of generation Y I have embedded in me the INSTANT-MESSAGE-QUICK-FIX mentality. I was wondering if anyone else has any reason for theirs apart from just wanting them.
I got mine so I could dip them in soup. Later in the day I could suck on a dread and get some nice flavours
I Guess Someone Here Has To Step Foward And Say It........ Aussie....Aussie....Aussie........Oie....Oie....Oie........... Cheers Glen.
I still maintain 'Horsestralia' sounds funnier And the chant should be Aussie Aussie Aussie ......Girt by Sea ...Girt By Sea ....Girt by Sea!
I still picture all aussie men like the thunder down under troop of male strippers. I envision all of you wearing thong undies with kangaroos on them while sittin in front of your computer.
