Need some positive vibes

My dads in the hospital with a whole list of problems. His health has been failing for years and he's only 57. Now his kidneys are shutting down and hes refusing dialysis. I kinda understand why he is, but it's still very hard to deal with.
I feel really bad my mom sounds horrible. I cant get up there till next weekend.
If everyone can send positive energy his way, and to my family...

Sorry to hear about your dad. Don't mean to sound like a broken record, but whenever I hear someone mention health problems and how the conventional treatment isn't working out, I always mention acupuncture and chinese herbal medicine. Acunpuncture has been endorsed by the World Health Organization (which I think is United Nations affiliated) for treating a variety of conditions. It's really not the first thing I would mention for accute conditions, but if conventional medicine has been ruled out, I think it might be a good idea.

You might also want to check out reiki healing, though the concept is too far out for many people. Interestingly, there is a prominent hospital in my area that now recommneds reiki to patients getting post-surgical care.

So if your dad won't go down the dialasis road, there's still some stuff to try if he is willing.

His Kidneys have stayed at 2% functional for a day and 1/2 now. The blood infection is still really bad though, and no one knows why he has it.

My dad called earlier today and told me he loved me, which i dont think I ever remember him saying. It seems like a really bad sign.
My mom just called me and told me she had been meditating and he isnt coming home.
Im trying to stay positive, but I have a really bad feeling too.

I really dont know what to do rite now. Im broke, I start a new job tomorrow that took me a while to get. If I loose this job Im pretty screwed, but if i dont see my dad I'll never forgive myself. And Id really feel shitty if I blew off this job tomorrow only to get a call 1/2 way up there that things are looking better. I keep telling myself to calm down and go to work tomorrow and wait and see what the dr's say, but I dont know if thats a risk I want to take.

Unfortunately my dad isnt big on stuff like that. So he won't go for acupuncture or reiki or anything.
My mom is big into and very good at holistic healing and different types of energy healing, and she can do them without him knowing haha
Her and a few other people have been working on him.

Have you thought of going to your new job tomorrow and explaining what is going on and asking them to extend your start date.

Jobs are so hard to come by here, and its been my exp the people here arnt very understanding.
Money is REALLY tight, Ive got a ton of money tied up in 2 houses, 1 im waiting for it to sell then Ill be ok, but who knows when that will be. Ive got supposed friends that owe me over $3000. As it is Im not making my truck payment so I have money to get up there.
If I loose this job there could be serious consequences. I know I cant accept it if I dont see my dad and somethings happens. But I have to be ready to accept the consequences if I loose this job.
My mom it trying to get more info from the dr's first thing this morning. If it's anything but good news Im gonna go up there now.
