Ive been having this same type dream for years, and the past two nights I had it twice in a row.. Im always in some very large complex, warehouse, a large home, always being chased by someone.. obscure sometime horrific things take place.. but mostly just running trying to escape this large place I'm in.. I always wake up in sweats too during these dreams..

He didn't say he sleeps in sweats... he just wakes up in them.

on a more serious note..my guess would be the building is the world..and you feel lost in it...kind of like changing schools and not finding your "spot" in the cafeteria yet

I think maybe your dream is representative of a situation or relationship you want to escape from .I had the same kind of dream before and I had a toxic relationship with a friend .Once I put an end to that relationship the dream was gone . That's just my take on it tho you can take that with a grain of salt .

    Peace

I think it could mean that you're being held back by something, and maybe you need to cut your losses.

The one chasing you could represent a fear of the unknown. Or possibly a deep, repressed memory or fear that you are recovering (but I doubt that one.) And the bulding could represent challenges that you are facing. If the building is always new, it could be new challenges you face in everyday life.
