There are concerns that the offspring of cloned animals have entered the food chain in the UK. This seems like a non story to me.

Actually, in the United States meat from offspring of cloned animals is nothing exceptional. They clone breeding bulls here without bothering about possible long-term consequences for the consumer. As I'm originally from Europe, I might say that the American dream of "everything is possible" meant something else to me before I came here. Sometimes, and especially in such cases, I actually regret my decision to move to the US...
The main problem with cloned meat is not that the food will be bad for our health, it is that large-scale agricultural cloning would be cruel as, at the moment, cloning techniques aren't successful enough. imho x
