Bono from U2 I don't know if you've seen the making of the Vertigo video but I was thinking & I agree with him on this he said that there isn't many real bands at the moment as in playing together & enjoying it, I'm assuming that a lot face the whole thing as the bass player comes in does his thing then the singer that kind of thing. Jimmy Page said something that I think is relevent that people take to long to record that it becomes stale & I think thats why some modern music you can feel that they've been playing to much that its lost that intial engery of what it was about in the first place
I've never been too big on U2, but there's a lot of hype about them lately. Jimmy Page.. hmm, Led Zep is ok, but I'm more of a folksy type, myself. I remember a very good performance with Led Zep and Neil Young dueling for Neil's hall of fame induction and Neil left Jimmy Page in the dust on about a 10 minute long version of "When The Levee Breaks" I couldn't get enough Bob Dylan or Neil Young if I ate them alive.
I cant stand that fucking song (Vertigo). Like....what the hell's the fucking point? Of the song I mean....there's a place called Vertigo....woopteefuckindoo.
Rap? Lol... I'm in a Spanish rock band (with some English songs)... I usually switch b/w lead and rhythm with the other guitarist... I much rather play rhythm on some songs.
Lol...Spanish rock is beautiful, yet it's a rather repeated pattern of often used chords. I personally perffer English rock and metal, for its diversity.
I liked it the first 2 or 3 times but U2s music has a tendency to get my tits after a while they all sound the same lol
the chili peppers are an ill band, even if you dont like them you still gotta respect how there just wicked good friends jamin out
Yeah... but personal things and the "strange" makes your personality and charachter who you are and that's what's great about people.
