Anyone have any first hand experience with long term storage of heroin? A couple of years ago a friend of mine sold me a gram of number 3. I had never tried heroin (but planned to one day) so I sealed it up in a baggie and never got around to trying it (sorta forgot about it if you can believe that). I left it in a very dry enviroment, but it was not kept cool. It survived 2 summers of around 90 to 100 degrees F. A month ago I took it out of storage and decided to test it. This was not only my first experience with heroin, but it was also my first time using any opiate in over a year. I snorted a small amount and was pleasantly suprised. Heavy limbs, opiate euphoria, itchies, etc. It was great. I even managed to nod in and out for about 30 minutes. Seems its still fairly potent, but I wonder if it was even better when I first got it two years ago. I'm going to be properly storing it from now on... might only do a little bump a couple times a year at most. Gonna see how long I can stretch it (as I may never come across it again).
its not like they have air conditioned storage in afghanistan. that shit probly gets fried in their huts. Clearly a cool place would be ideal, but i don't think it is entirely necessary, as heroin does have a very long shelf life so long as it's kept dry. I have read that when heroin is diluted with water that it turns back to morphine, but i cannot personally affirm that.
Maybe you should have considered doing the same thing with this thread? Loser. To the OP: I've been planning on doing something similar. It would be a wonderful thing to have a sizable amount of opiate hidden around in case disaster strikes (ie. you could make watching the end of the world that much better, if anarchy happens and the world falls apart you could probably get 1000X the price for it, for when zombies attack and you break your leg running from them, and need something to kill the pain so you can carry on an reach the resusce team 6 miles down the road, etc etc etc) Can I ask where you ended up storing it?? If I do something like this I had always planned to bury mine in the back yard, in a canning jar. Storing a 7-year jail sentence in your house probably isn't a grand idea. If I were you I'd put it in an air tight jar in a dark, cool place. Temperature probably isn't that important considering it was brewed in probably 105* weather, stored in someones ass at 98.6*, and then sat around for god knows how long before it was put on the street. I'd imagine long-term heat would probably do damage, but not hot enough that you could get it up to. Store it like you'd store a bottle of pills. Just make sure its air tight. I just realized this is your first time doing opiates for 1 year+.... How much of the gram did you do, and how high did you get?
That's cool that you were able to hold onto some decent skag, kinda like Christmas when you come across a forgotten gram lol. That wouldn't even last a week at my house, lol. I always thought about taking a 5 mile hike to the top of a mountain and burying some stuff. Maybe wait like a year then take a 'beer' walk up to the 'goods' and get nice and mellow while enjoying a sunset or something.
I ended up doing much like you said... it is sealed in a small baggie which is now being stored in a small airtight mason jar. I also threw a couple of dessicant packages in there just to keep it extra dry. Now I am storing the mason jar in at room tempature (low 70's). I expect it should last a long long time this way... Not sure as I didn't weigh it out, but it wasn't much at all. I just stuck a straw into the baggie and lifted out a small amount. My baseline tolerance to opiates has always been low... in other words, without any tolerance, I always seem to need less of any opiate I try then any of my friends do. For example, without any tolerance, anything more than 15mg of hydro makes me puke... lol... I'd say the amount I did felt a lot like 15mg of percs only it was much more sedating (as oxy makes me energetic).
Dope gets stale. I used to get bundles from harlem, and although they were gone fast, I always stored them in bags of rice. I think you can also put it in the freezer. The dude I went to harlem with used to put all his coke in the freezer and it worked just fine.
Haha, a heroin user calls somebody else a loser. You need to take a long, hard look in the mirror and anyways, why is everyone so concerned about heroin storage?? It's not like a junkie can keep there hands off it any longer than 15 minutes.
