I don't think there is any limit on how many times you can get married ,as long as you are legally divorced first . Elizabeth Taylor has been married 8 times .

Do you mean remarry the same person ? I just reread your post .I think you or him should be the ones to say enough is enough if you have already remarried 3 times . I apologize if I misread your question

Divorce isn't a crime. The judge can't stop you.

You may think it's ridiculous, but really it's nobody's business but your grandfather's.

Divorce isn't a crime but they treat you like it is if you have kids together

It effects how many woman us kids had to say grandma to...knowing it wouldn't last...or getting attached to some while he just threw them away...now don't get me wrong I love my grampa and would want him happy at all costs even all the women he went through....but it was confusing as a kid....and his happiness is my business....I was just wondering if there was a limit...I think there is in TN...I'll have to look it up...but I do know they have stepped up the process and made it harder to get one here

Growing up my friend Jessica's parents got divorced and remarried 3 times. And they're honestly one of the sweetest couples I knew. Always really happy to be around each other.

A law like that would be struck down in appeals... limiting divorces.

Most people won't stick up for gay marriage... But you mess with straight divorce.

Hell that's the reason North America is protestant.

    Once might be a mistake.

    Twice might be a mistake.

Three times might be a mistake.....

After that, I think everyone should have to wait for 6 months after getting a license issued. :)

The IRS can nail you for it.

There was a couple on the news years ago that would get divorced before tax time so that their taxes would be lower then would marry again. After so many times, the IRS came after them. They can charge you with things such as 'trying to usurp federal authority'.

one wife was enough for one life for me.
i never expected to outlive her.
    men usually don't.

as for changing partners, anything to do with any law pretty much depends entirely on where you are. different countries, even different political divisions within countries, have their own approaches, perspectives and concepts.
