First time here. I am from California, a town called Nevada City in the Foothills of the Sierras, 2500 feet elevation. I am planning a trip of a month or two to Australia and am looking for the best advice I can get about traveling, buying a car, general daily costs. I am not looking for tourist places. I am in my 60's in my body and 30's in spirit. I am a photographer and am very interested in finding great places to photograph and meeting fellow photographers. I have traveled in over 50 countries and lived in Japan, Peru and London. This last year I went to Iceland and Sardinia. Hope to here from some of you soon.
