Money. Money. Money. Do you really think so little of him? Ok, perhaps he might. But I'd rather think he would prefer training kids. During the world cup: He looked the part and acted the part. I just don't see it happening, personally.
I heard a story several years ago (probably apocryphal) that when Beckham was becoming really famous all around the world he became so sick of everyone dick riding him 24/7 he decided to spend some time in the US where soccer wasn't very popular. When he got off the plane and walked through the airport terminal in Los Angels realized that no one, but no one knew or cared who he was. He then realized that he hated that even more than people sucking up to him everywhere he went.
I like him. I personally think he is one of the few footballers that I feel really works hard to stay clean and is someone that kids can look up to. I think he is not the greatest that has been by far but considering the expectations that were placed on him as a young player, he has done very well. He presents a rather rounded image and his charity work has done a lot of good for people. I hope that whatever he decides to do once he hangs up his boots, he enjoys.
To be honest we still don't care He's just some schmuck who likes to kick around a buckminster fullerene Hotwater
Drug dealer turned basketball star turned actor turned baseball player turned eye. Parts of that last sentence is true.
You guys in England don't know who Shaq is? Star of Kazaam Shaq! British sports is a funny affair. I saw him get roughed up by sugar shane the other day in his reality show. To see a 140 pound man out punch a 350 pound man was fun I haven't seen in a while.
