I grew my hair out until it was half way down my back, but I went on an ATVing trip and they gave me a helmet with lice so unfortunately to manage that I had to cut it short, but I got a "Soap" Mohawk and it looks pretty badass, plus no hair in the way nor do I have to brush, condition or wait an hour for it to dry. I still LOVE having long hair and I plan on growing it out much longer than it is now, kind of want a Jimmy Page in The song remains the same, I think that would be chill lol
I had long hair in my teens and 20's until i got tired of it at 25. Since then i kept it shortish. Now at 53 i have long hear and beard too!
I had a #2 when i was romper stomper.. but that was crap 70% of the most influencial humans to exist had long hair... take it from there. Mr Natural.. im 51.. agree Wu
My hair is short right now .After I was hospitalized twice back in Jan and Feb I had it cut short for simplicity .I like it so I may keep it that way for a bit .
I read somewhere a long time ago that the tradition of men having short hair stems all the way back to ancient Greece and Rome. Having long hair served as a major disadvantage in combat. Your enemy would grab your hair, put you into submission, and kill you. Hence it became fashionable for men to have short hair. I don't like having my hair so short. I like length on mine. It's still fairly masculine. I look dumb with hair so short that I don't need to brush it in the morning. But my last barber fucked up and cut it too short.
Long ago I had my hair down to my shoulders but now I keep it relatively short. I find having long hair to be a nuisance, but if it works for you, great.
I wear it short now, but it used to reach the top of my tee shirt collar. I sometimes grow a beard in winter, but shave it off when the weather gets hot.
Meanwhile, vikings raiders had dreadlocks that showed their seasoning, as more time in a salty environment in an open longboat would cause it to lock. That's what hair ties and helmets are for.
For awhile I was shaving my head bald with a straight razor. Just liked the look at the time I guess.
