we drive to vegas regularly and usually around the end or 1st of the month. we also drive up in between the scheduled trips like currently we'll be heading up in the next day or two. we usually return within a day or two and usually take detours to visit places we've never been to or liked so well it's worth a return trip and riders' input is always welcomed as long as there are no time constraints. we (we being the dogs and me) have room for one person and their gear or two people without much baggage (we drive a toyota matrix) and and camping is often involved when there's time and we're in a cool spot...gas money is always welcomed but not necessary if we stay on my path, or close to it. friendly small-ish dogs are always welcomed too. i'm about 30 miles south of globe but can handle the tucson area if time allows it...but pretty much the northern half of az is doable. lately we've been taking the route thru page and southern utah because it's such as awesome drive and only 100 miles further than the 'regular path' thru wickenburg to kingman but takes several hours longer due mostly to scenery stops. we also like coming back thru jerorome/cottonwood...just to give you an idea of what you're in for... please do not reply here if needing a ride as i don't check in regularly but i do check my email all but daily>>> cannmon at yahoo dot com
