If I'd have known more about the line-up, I'd have considered going too. Just had a look and found The Gaslight Anthem were on as well.

Ah well. I think Frank Turner is supporting them this tour, so I might be able to catch them both then.

Really? Shame. Still, it means I can erase one off my list of "reasons for kicking myself for not going". :D

man what a festy!! First time there and it blew my lil brains out hehe. Did anybody else see the weird bronze bug people on stilts that kept licking passers by? Man they were scary! Most trippy moment was definately finding a night club inside a filing cabinet hehe

I know the ones you're talking about, they were there in 2004.

I remember some guy getting really close to one to take a photo, and the bugperson snatched the camera out of his hands with their teeth :D Oh, and someone else got near to them (possibly the same guy), and one of them opened up this pouch around their waist...kind of like a Capri-Sun pouch with the plastic drinking end...and fed the guy some bug-juice (red wine by the look of it. I hope.)

It was wicked, very glad I decided to go in the end. Stevie Wonder was amazing. So were the Pet Shop Boys. Not sure I should admit that....
